01
Pre- Production
Use of visuals.

Storyboards and mood boards. My beginnings as a Designer & Animator showed me that words can only do so much. The importance of experimenting with images in the early stage of the project makes the story richer, easier to edit, and saves time during filming.
02
Directing
Emotion is the key ingredient.

Surprise them. Make them laugh. As the creative force that guides the cast and crew towards a consistent vision of the script, a Director also needs to use emotions to connect with the viewer.
03
Filming
Lighting & Sound makes a difference.

Nowadays DSLR and Mirrorless cameras can achieve magnificent results in low light with little additional equipment. Although lighting and sound steps up the production times, it's what makes a project to have personality and a high-value look.
04
Editing
The music matters.

If the song moves you, that's half of the job done. My priorities during editing are:
1. Choice of music,
2. Subtle but surprising visual FX,
3. Motion graphics,
4. Color grading.
05
Aerial Footage
More epic and dynamic shots.

A justified camera movement pushes the cinematic levels up, can tell better a story and resonate with the audience. A drone provides this for small and medium productions without the hassle of cranes and helicopters.
